The Need
STEM careers are the most in demand and highest paying jobs available, yet our students are uninterested and unprepared for these occupations. Now you can offer your students the opportunity to learn more about these occupations in a fun and engaging environment.
The National Academy of Sciences identified three goals for STEM education:
- Increase the number of advanced degrees awarded and people entering advanced technology careers
- Increase the size and quality of the STEM-related workforce
- Improve STEM literacy for all students
Jobs are the outcome, but it all starts with education. The problem is that the current system cannot produce the needed talent and it's imperative to expose all students to the opportunities that STEM allows them.
Something has to change. We must prepare our students’ minds today if we want them to succeed in STEM jobs tomorrow.
